Some teachers at the April Collaborative meeting indicated that they were unable to open their cds with the Flash animations.  They need a Flash Reader.

The Collaborative For Excellence In Science Teaching web site, http://www.Region10UNT.com  , offers a free Flash Reader via the button at the bottom of the home page.

Pushing the Flash Button takes one to the free Adobe Flash Download site.

Simply press their download button and you will be able to read Flash files.

Dear Educator/Teacher

 

On 13 June 2008, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Fort Worth Chapter is sponsoring an “Educator In-Service Dayâ€� workshop.  The specific focus for this day is bringing science, technology and engineering into the K-12 classroom,
while showing the importance of reading and writing.  The workshop will be held at the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Fort Worth plant.  This event is open to all teachers and educators throughout the North Texas area.  The workshop is planned to be
a “no-costâ€� event for participants. 

 

Pre-Registration for this event is required.  Please register via the web site at:  <http://www.ieee.org/web/education/preuniversity/tispfortworth.html>.  The number of total
participants will be limited for size purposes, so please register as soon as possible.  Further contact for this event will be via email.  Please ensure you enter a valid email address on the registration site. 
 

 

A welcome package will be sent via email approximately 1 month before the actual workshop.  The package will include directions to the site, a tentative agenda, on site requirements, etc.
